PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: June 10, 2026
ATTENTION ENGINE INC. 1400-885 West Georgia Vancouver, BC V6C 3E8 Canada support@attentionengine.ai This Privacy Policy explains how ATTENTION ENGINE INC. collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with FanEdit.com, VibeEdit.com, and app.fanedit.com. FanEdit.com is our front marketing website and public ranking site for edit-style videos. VibeEdit.com is our browser-based editor where users can add local files, create edits, and use connected publishing features. FanEdit and VibeEdit may use the same account system. For clarity, app.fanedit.com may link, redirect, or provide access to VibeEdit.com. References to VibeEdit in this document include VibeEdit features accessed through app.fanedit.com when applicable.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit, browse, create an account for, submit links to, upload content to, connect a supported social account to, use editing tools on, publish from, or otherwise use FanEdit.com, VibeEdit.com, or app.fanedit.com, together, the “Platforms”. FanEdit.com includes marketing pages, account features, public rankings, and the Edits Hall of Fame. VibeEdit.com includes browser-based editing, edit generation, local file workflows, project features, account features, and supported social media publishing features. This Privacy Policy does not apply to separate managed agency services, separate brand campaign services, or separate desktop applications unless those services expressly link to this Privacy Policy. The Platforms may link to third-party websites, social platforms, videos, posts, accounts, APIs, or services. Those third parties have their own privacy practices and are not controlled by us.
2. Personal information we collect
We try to collect only the information needed to operate the Platforms, maintain accounts, provide rankings and editing features, support connected social-account features, communicate with users, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve the service.
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information: name, email address, login credentials or authentication information, account type, profile information, preferences, and settings. - User role information: creator, brand, and administrator account information. - Submissions and content: links, videos, audio, text, captions, prompts, project information, edits, ranking submissions, and other materials you choose to submit or use with the Platforms. - Communications: messages, support requests, deletion requests, copyright notices, legal notices, unsubscribe requests, and other communications you send us. - Connected account information: information provided when you connect a supported social media account, including TikTok, such as account identifiers, authorization tokens, social handles, follower counts, engagement metrics, content metadata, and account performance information made available through the connection.
2.2 Public and third-party information
FanEdit.com includes public rankings and discovery features, including the Edits Hall of Fame. We may collect, display, or rank publicly available links, post metadata, creator handles, engagement metrics, thumbnails, descriptions, hashtags, and similar public information from third-party platforms or other public sources. If you believe a listing includes your content or personal information and should be removed, contact us at support@attentionengine.ai.
2.3 Local files and VibeEdit projects
VibeEdit is designed so that users can add local files and create edits in a browser-based editing workflow. Local source files are not owned by us and are intended to remain on your device unless you choose a feature that uploads, submits, saves to a cloud feature, sends to support, publishes to a connected social media account, or otherwise transfers content outside your device. Where a feature uses only local processing, we do not receive the local source file. If a feature clearly requires upload, submission, hosting, social publishing, or cloud processing, we process the relevant files or data only as needed to provide the feature you choose, maintain security, comply with law, respond to support requests, or enforce our Terms of Use.
2.4 Automatically processed technical information
When you use the Platforms, we and our service providers may automatically process technical information needed to load pages, maintain sessions, prevent abuse, debug errors, measure performance, and secure the Platforms. This may include IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, cookie identifiers, session identifiers, and log data. We do not ask you to provide government identification, payment-card information, precise GPS location, health information, or other sensitive personal information for normal use of the Platforms.
2.5 Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platforms, keep users signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, understand usage, and measure advertising or conversion activity. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled. We currently use Google advertising or measurement tags, sometimes described as Google Pixel or Google conversion tracking, to understand whether our marketing is effective. We do not currently use Meta Pixel and do not currently upload customer lists to advertising platforms. We do not sell personal information for money. If our use of Google or similar tools is considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, you may request to opt out by disabling non-essential cookies where available, using platform or browser privacy controls, or contacting us at support@attentionengine.ai.
2.6 AI and edit generation features
VibeEdit may include edit generation and related browser-based tools. We do not currently send private user uploads to third-party AI model providers as part of the production Platforms. If we add third-party AI providers or materially change how private user content is processed, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide appropriate notice before using those providers for private user content in a materially different way. We do not use private user uploads to train our own AI models without permission. We may use limited usage data, logs, error reports, and user feedback to debug, secure, and improve the Platforms.
3. How we use personal information
- To provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve FanEdit.com, VibeEdit.com, and app.fanedit.com. - To create and manage shared user accounts for creators, brands, and administrators. - To provide public rankings, marketing pages, discovery pages, editing tools, edit generation tools, local project workflows, and connected social-account features. - To publish or transmit content to a connected social media account only when you direct the Platform to do so. - To communicate with you about your account, support requests, security, legal notices, product updates, and marketing where permitted. - To send emails using Resend or similar email service providers. - To detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to spam, fraud, security incidents, intellectual property issues, abusive use, policy violations, and legal claims. - To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use. - To measure usage, performance, advertising conversions, and the effectiveness of our communications and marketing.
4. How we disclose personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy: - Service providers: vendors that help us host, store, secure, email, analyze, and operate the Platforms, including Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Google, and other vendors we use for similar operational purposes. - Social platforms and connected accounts: TikTok and other supported social platforms when you connect an account, authorize access, view social data, or direct the Platform to publish content. - Public viewers: information that is publicly displayed on the Edits Hall of Fame, public rankings, public listings, public submissions, or other public pages. - Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and other advisors. - Legal, safety, and rights holders: courts, regulators, law enforcement, copyright owners, platform operators, or affected parties where we believe disclosure is required or appropriate to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse, or respond to legal requests. - Business transfers: a buyer, investor, successor, or other party in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality or legal protections.
5. User content, local processing, and deletion
We do not claim ownership of your local files, uploads, edits, or submissions. We process user content only as needed to provide the features you request, such as local editing, previewing, saving, submitting public rankings, publishing to a connected social account, operating a public listing you submit, providing support, securing the Platforms, or complying with law. You may delete supported account information and supported user content through available account tools or by contacting support@attentionengine.ai. When deletion is requested, we delete the relevant account information and supported user content as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to limited retention needed for security, legal compliance, backups, dispute resolution, or prevention of abuse. Content that was published to a third-party social platform is controlled by that third party and must be removed through that platform.
6. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Platforms, maintain user accounts, support public rankings and listings, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms of Use, and maintain backups. Account information is deleted when you delete your account or request deletion, subject to these limited retention needs. Temporary processing files and uploads are deleted as soon as reasonably practicable after they are no longer needed for the feature you requested.
7. Marketing and electronic communications
We may send account, security, legal, product, and support communications. We may also send marketing or promotional emails where permitted by law. Marketing emails will identify us, include our mailing address, and include an unsubscribe mechanism or instructions. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop important account, security, legal, or transactional communications.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of marketing emails, targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or certain profiling. To make a request, contact support@attentionengine.ai. If you are a California resident, we do not sell personal information for money. Because some advertising or measurement tools may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under California or similar laws, you may request to opt out by contacting support@attentionengine.ai. We will honor legally required browser-based opt-out preference signals to the extent required by applicable law and technically feasible for the Platforms. If you are located in Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with privacy rights, you may contact us to exercise your rights under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law, for example where information is needed for security, legal compliance, or another legitimate reason.
9. Children
The Platforms are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Platforms only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it as required by law.
10. International transfers
ATTENTION ENGINE INC. is based in British Columbia, Canada, but the Platforms may be used worldwide. Your personal information may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
12. Third-party links and platforms
The Platforms may link to or interact with third-party websites, social platforms, videos, posts, accounts, APIs, and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated policy on the Platforms, updating the effective date, or using another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Platforms after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
14. Contact us
For privacy requests, support, copyright notices, legal notices, marketing unsubscribe requests, or other questions, contact us at support@attentionengine.ai or by mail at ATTENTION ENGINE INC., 1400-885 West Georgia, Vancouver, BC V6C 3E8, Canada.
