#howtotrainyourdragon #howtotrainyourdragon2 #howtotrainyourdragonthehiddenworld #toothless Here are my thoughts on How to Train Your Dragon. I initially hadn’t know much about it until I watched the franchise. I always loved Toothless because of how cool he looks while also being cute. Now looking back, I still like Toothless but not so much Hiccup. In the first movie, Hiccup tried to fit in with his own people who always viewed him as a bad omen every time he makes a mistake. Heck, his father Stoick would threaten his people with babysitting his own son if they didn’t want to continue finding the Nest. After befriending Toothless and later being confronted, Hiccup accidentally revealed how to find the Nest. It wasn’t that much of a problem hadn’t Hiccup said that he should have killed the Night Fury DESPITE stating to Astrid the night before that he would keep the Nest’s whereabouts to protect Toothless. Of course, as with any other kids film Hiccup gets what he wants, making his father proud and having a girlfriend. It’s the second movie that made me dislike Hiccup more. While everyone even his own mother who he finally reunites after all those years warned him that Drago wasn’t someone who can be reasoned with. Hiccup tried anyway, and Drago mind controlled Toothless so he could kill Stoick, and Hiccup lashed out at Toothless basically putting the death on him. It’s ironic, because not only was it Drago who killed his father but Hiccup himself was res for his father’s death. He then (barely, if at all) apologized to Toothless and afterwards have yet another happy ending. The third film kinda redeems Hiccup (to a certain extent) By deciding to release Toothless back into the wild, you know, after he inadvertently lured him into Grimmel’s trap with his mate a Light Fury being held hostage because Hiccup was still clinging to his dragon so his mother Valka have Astrid show Hiccup that Toothless wants his own life too. Overall, I still don’t like Hiccup much as fans do, and its funny how Hiccup’s the main protagonist but not Toothless who I think does all the work. Kinda symbiotic, if you ask me. Anyway, that’s my review. Hope you guys enjoyed it and comment below. Love you guys! is connected to @Xzyloriz, 4 hashtag signals, and 500.04 impact score.
