Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning (2025 Film) 4/5 ⭐️ Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning is said to be the last film with Tom Cruise at the helm of this franchise as Ethan Hunt. This is the second part of "The Dead Reckoning," in which Hunt and his team have been trying to stop a self-aware computer entity that is trying to take over the world and start a World War. They are also after Gabriel (played by Esai Morales), who is trying to take control of the entity as well. The plots of these films are often complicated, and Hunt and his team are always involved in some "Impossible Mission," and this film is no different. From the depths of the ice-cold ocean to dogfights with planes, this film delivers. I can't say it is my favorite MI film, but this one is pretty much on par with the franchise as a whole. If this is the last MI film for Cruise, he went out with a bang! The film has great action, and fight scenes and the stakes are higher than ever. I enjoyed this one and will also own it on Bluray with the rest of my Mission Impossible Collection. I place the MI Franchise only 2nd to John Wick in terms of Action series.
